Caaals (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Caaals mobile and web applications (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

  • Profile and health-related information. Such as height, weight, age, sex, activity level, dietary goals, and food and nutrition entries you choose to log.
  • Content you provide. Such as meal descriptions, photos you submit for logging, favorites, and other data you enter into the Service.
  • Usage and device data. Such as app version, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address (if applicable), crash reports, and how you interact with features.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of certain sharing (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. You may also uninstall the app and request account deletion where available in the Service.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers of personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (such as in-app notification or email) where required by law. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
