Caaals for Raycast.
The whole diary from the keyboard you’re already at — five commands and a menu-bar widget, writing to the same diary as iPhone and the web app.
Five commands.
Log Food
Type “2 scrambled eggs with avocado toast” and hit return. The AI identifies the food, the database answers, and the entry lands in today’s diary.
Quick Log
Re-log favorites and recent foods in one keystroke, no AI wait.
Browse Diary
View and manage recent entries without opening anything else.
Log Weight
Record today’s weigh-in and see the trend move.
Today’s Caloriesmenu bar
Your remaining calories and macros in the menu bar, refreshed every 15 minutes.
One diary.
The extension talks to the same API as the iPhone app and app.caaals.com. There is no separate Raycast diary — lunch logged from your desk lands in the one diary every platform reads, and it counts toward the same projection and daily score.
Setup.
Install the extension from the Raycast Store and sign in with your Caaals account — creating one is free. That’s the whole setup.
Questions
Do I need the iPhone app to use the Raycast extension?
No. Any free Caaals account works — sign in from the extension and you get the same diary that iPhone and the web app read. The iPhone app adds photo and barcode logging, but Raycast stands on its own.
Does Quick Log call the AI?
No. Quick Log re-logs your favorites and recent foods exactly as they were, which is why there is no wait at all.
Log your day without leaving the keyboard.
